Description
The Sig Sauer MCX Stock Adapter Kit offers you the ability to upgrade your rifle and install MCX folding stock assemblies. The stock adapter is designed to withstand heavy use and abuse with a solid aluminum construction. It features a black finish and is designed to adapt the MCX stock to an AR-15 lower chambered in .223, 5.56 and .300 caliber. The kit attaches to the rear portion of the receiver for the addition of a foldable MCX stock. (This will not work with collapsible stock / braces). Once installed it will provide you with a Picatinny rail mounted on the rear of the lower receiver to install your folding stock with ease and ensures the rear detent spring is captured for the rear takedown pin. This kit improves the aesthetics of your AR by minimizing the awkward ledge that is often present when installing a MCX upper on an AR lower. It also offers a QD cup where you can attach a sling.
