Dan Wesson 1911 long-slide Kodiak has a 6-inch bushing-less bull barrel, allowing full-power 10mm loads to perform to their potential.
Greater slide/barrel mass reduces felt recoil and muzzle flip, and the longer barrel gives the powerful 10mm more time to build energy. The longer barrel also improves accuracy thanks to the larger sight radius it provides.
The fiber optic rods illuminate the fully adjustable sights, and a rail on the dust cover allows for the attachment of an additional light or laser.
A magwell and ambidextrous safety make this 1911 suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters.
