Glock 43 magazines consist of a high-tech polymer exterior protecting a steel insert.
When the magazine is coated in polymer, it is protected from damage and won’t bend, even if dropped from a great height.

Notes:

All Glock pistols can use magazines from any other Glock pistol.

New Glock magazines have extremely stiff springs, making it difficult to load them to capacity.
To load the magazine to capacity or close to capacity, a Glock magazine loader (typically included in the Glock case with the handgun) may be required.

If the magazine should hold 15 rounds but only accepts 14, for example, leave it loaded with 14 rounds for several days to allow the spring’s tension to decrease, at which point the final round should be able to be loaded.
The magazine’s ability to accept its full capacity should improve after a short period of time, but you may still need to use the magazine loader.
The magazine will become easier to load after being run through several full-to-empty cycles.
