Mossberg Maverick 88<\/a> is a versatile firearm that can configured for many different applications<\/a>. The Maverick 88 Security Shotgun is built for home defense. With the cylinder bore there is no worry about shooting various loads through a tight choke. The 88 Special Purpose Security models have a 3″ chamber and either an 20″ blued barrel with a fixed cylinder bore and a brass front sight bead barrel set in a rugged black synthetic stock with a ribbed forearm. Dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel to steel lockup, and an anti-jam elevator provide trouble free operation. An intuitive tang-mounted safety ensures this shotgun can be brought into action with the flick of a thumb.<\/p>\n
