The patented Ruger New Model mechanism incorporates a transfer bar. This transfer bar mechanism makes a \u201csafety\u201d notch unnecessary. The cold hammer-forged barrel of the Wrangler results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity.
